Andrea Kasamas studied Stage Design at the Academy of Fine Arts as well as Law at the University of Vienna.
Her paintings are distinguished by the spontaneous rhythm of painting and from experiences in nature. Kasamas combines pictorial liveliness with the idea of the unity of subject and means of expression.
Kasamas doesn’t start from the traditional approach of landscape painting – she sees the picture as a plane, on which her painting can spread freely into all directions.
Andrea Kasamas is also well known for her portraits. She lives as a freelance artist in Vienna.
