Dalpra Mario - Sculptures
Feldkirch *1960
As a painter, Mario Dalpra studied with Arnulf Rainer in Vienna, sculptor, draftsman, musician, film and performance artist, he constantly demonstrates his complex talent and can point to countless exhibitions in Europe, the USA, Latin America, Australia and Asia and one not less impressive series of catalogs and publications.
His art is seen both aesthetically and art-historically as a model and link between tradition and modernity. In its structure, with cubist to dadaist influences, it shows a mix of patterns and elements of pop art, as well as swinging stability.
His works have been shown in numerous exhibitions and campaigns since the 1980s and are represented in collections such as the Liaunig Museum, the Angerlehner Museum, the Lentos Museum in Linz and others. Dalpra's art was exhibited at the international Contemporary Art Fair in Zurich in 2013 and a year later at Art Bodensee 2014. In 2014, one of his sculptures graced the official poster of the Vienna Opera Ball. In 2015 he presented his sculptures at Art Palm Beach in Florida and at VIENNAFAIR.
Dalpra lives and works in Vienna, India and Indonesia.
